The Team
Nigel Pasco CPEng (Civil, Proj.Mgmt)
Founder
Professional Engineer and Project Manager with over 20 years of experience in delivery infrastructure across client and contractor sides on major infrastructure projects throughout Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific.
After two decades of using construction software that was either too complex, too expensive, or built by people who'd never set foot on a site, I decided to build something better.
"I built Pasco Cloud because I was tired of fighting the tools instead of managing the project."
Ginger Bear
Chief Site AI-Assistant
Every construction site needs a good "ginger-bear". Ours is defintely smarter than your average bear.
The Ginger Bear? On an early project, I had a site supervisor who would to refer to the engineering team, quite affectionately I am sure, as the "Bloody Ginger Bears."
Many work lots (and NCRs!) later, Pasco Cloud needed a AI assistant and mascot, so there was only one choice. The Ginger Bear traded the colouring pencils for the help button, but he's still the same furry know-it-all who'll pop up with unsolicited advice when you least expect and most appreciate it.
He's also the only team member who can hibernate through early morning pre-start and still hit his KPIs.
Why Pasco?
Pasco Cloud is built on the Gold Coast, Australia. It's currently a one-person labour of love, backed by a very opinionated bear.
The platform is designed specifically for Australian and New Zealand construction teams — because we know the standards, the terminology, and the frustration of trying to make that generic American SaaS tool work with AS/NZS requirements.
We're in beta and growing. If you've got feedback, feature ideas, or just want to tell us about your own graduate engineer nicknames — we'd love to hear from you.
